Beef Marinade

Use this savory beef marinade for any cut of beef. Marinate the meat for at least 1 hour; marinating longer will create a more intense flavor of beef.

Ingredients

cup olive oil
¼ cup fresh lemon juice
¼ cup soy sauce
3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 garlic
1 tbsp fried basil
½ tbsp dried parsley
¼ tsp ground black pepper

Directions

Add all ingredients to FourSide jar in order listed and secure lid.

Select “Sauces” or blend on a Medium-Low speed for 30 seconds.

Basic Guacamole

Instead of using a molcajete, toss your guacamole ingredients in the blender. Whip up this dip filled with monounsaturated fats and oleic and linoleic acids, which may help lower cholesterol levels.

Ingredients

3 tbsp fresh lime juice
1 halved small shallot
1 clove garlic
½ tsp kosher salt
3 avocados peeled and pitted
cup fresh cilantro leaves

Directions

Add lime juice, shallot, garlic, and salt to FourSide jar in order listed and secure lid. Press “Pulse” 2–3 times.

Add avocados and cilantro to jar, secure lid, and press “Pulse” 8–10 times.

You may need to stop blending and scrape the sides with a rubber scraper to push the food down to the blade again.

Basic Green Smoothie

This basic recipe is ideal for green smoothie novices. The same formula can be used for any fruits or greens to make a delicious smoothie every time.

Ingredients

3 cups cold water
3 cups leafy greens*, packed
3 cups fresh and frozen fruit**
*If you’re a green smoothie beginner, try romaine lettuce and spinach because they have a mild taste. As you adjust to the taste of green smoothies, try Swiss chard, collard greens, kale, and even dandelion greens. **One of our favorites is 1 banana, 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks or frozen peach slices, and 1 cup frozen mixed berries or frozen blueberries.

Directions

Add water and leafy greens to FourSide or WildSide+ jar and secure lid.

Press “Pulse” 4–6 times to chop greens.

Add fruit and secure lid. Select “Whole Juice” or blend on a Medium to Medium-High speed for 50-60 seconds.

Banana Soft Serve

Only frozen bananas are needed to create this faux ice cream, which is creamy, soft, and so delicious. The add-ins and toppings for this nutritious dessert are unlimited.

Ingredients

2 bananas quartered and frozen

Directions

Peel and quarter bananas; freeze until solid.

Add frozen banana pieces to Twister jar and place Twister lid on jar. Hold Twister lid and with other hand, select a medium to medium-high speed (speed 7) and blend until smooth. Turn Twister lid counter-clockwise during blending.

Try substituting some of the frozen banana with another frozen fruit, such as strawberries, pineapple, or mango.

Avocado Soup

This simple, creamy avocado soup is delicious served cold. A scoop of ceviche enhances this appetizer.

Ingredients

4 cups chicken broth
¼ cup fresh cilantro leaves
2 tbsp lime juice
1 cup milk
2 ripe avocados
¼ cup serrano peppers
1 cup water Nutritio

Directions

Add all ingredients to WildSide+ jar in order listed.

Secure lid and select “Soup.”

Chill until ready to serve.

Avocado Aioli

Use as a dip with crudités, as a spread on your favorite bread, or use to accompany grilled chicken or salmon.

Ingredients

½ cup Greek yogurt
1 tbsp fresh lime juice
¼ tsp kosher salt
tsp ground black pepper
1 large ripe avocado peeled and pitted
1 clove garlic quartered

Directions

Add ingredients to FourSide jar (double ingredients if using WildSide+ jar) in order listed and secure lid.

Select “Sauces” or blend on Medium Low (speed 3 or 4) for 30 seconds.

Apricot Sherbet

Take control of your dessert by using fresh fruit and using a sweetener of your choice to create this yummy frozen treat!

Ingredients

Directions

Add apricots, sugar, and lemon juice to FourSide or WildSide+ jar and secure lid.

Blend on “Batters” cycle or blend on a Medium to Medium-Low speed for 30 seconds.

Add 4 cups of ice to jar and secure lid.

Select “Ice Cream” or blend on a Low speed for 15 seconds, then blend on a Medium to Medium-High speed for 30 seconds.

If texture is not frozen enough, stir then add 1 more cup of ice and secure lid. Blend on medium speed until ice is chopped and desired texture is reached.

Note: If your Blendtec doesn’t feature an Ice Cream/Frozen Yogurt button, blend on a Low speed for 15 seconds, then blend on a Medium High speed for 30 seconds. If more blending is required, press pulse several times until desired texture is achieved.

Almond Milk

Almond milk is great for cereals, desserts, and savory-sweet dishes. Almonds are an alkaline nut, and one serving provides ⅓ of your daily dose of vitamin E.

Ingredients

2 tbsp agave nectar
1 cup almonds soaked overnight and rinsed
tsp kosher salt
1 tsp vanilla extract or vanilla seeds scraped from bean
4 cups water

Directions

Add water and soaked almonds to FourSide or WildSide+ jar in order listed and secure lid.

Select “Whole Juice” or blend on a Medium High speed for 50-60 seconds.

Strain milk through nut milk bag or cheesecloth to remove almond skins and pulp.

Rinse blender jar, place strained almond milk back in jar with remaining ingredients and secure lid.

Press “Pulse” 3–5 times to combine thoroughly.

Serve or store in refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Note: Nutritional information will vary based on how much almond pulp is removed from milk.

Almond Butter Recipe

With the Twister jar, only seconds are needed to transform whole nuts into smooth and creamy nut butter.

Ingredients

1 ½ cups dry roasted almonds

Directions

Add almonds to Twister jar, and place lid on jar.

Hold lid with one hand, and with other hand set on a Medium to Medium-High speed.

Turn lid counterclockwise during blending. Run for 50 seconds.

Add salt to taste.

Note: For almond butter using raw almonds, blend 1½ cups of raw almonds and 1-2 tbsp. of almond oil at speed 7 (or a Medium-High speed) until smooth and creamy.

Agua Fresca de Sandia Recipe

Agua Fresca is to Central America what lemonade is to the United States on a warm summer day.

Ingredients

2 tbsp agave nectar
1 tbsp fresh lime juice
1 cup ice cubes
4 cups watermelon seeded and cubed

Directions

Add ingredients to WildSide+ jar in order listed.

Secure lid and select “Smoothie.”

Pour into glasses, and garnish with lime slices and ice.
