Onion, Carrot & Sesame Dressing

Bursting with flavor, this dressing is perfect drizzled over a bed of greens, mushrooms, peas, and bean sprouts.

Ingredients

½ medium carrot
1 clove garlic
60 soy sauce
50 granulated sugar or sweetener of choice (to taste)
240 olive oil
2 tbsp white sesame seeds
½ white onion
7 tbsp rice vinegar

Directions

Add all ingredients except olive oil to WildSide+ or FourSide jar and secure lid.

Blend on “Dressings/Batters/Dips/Sauces” cycle or blend on a Medium to Medium-Low speed for 30 seconds.

Start running it on a Low speed and near the opening of the plastic lid insert, add oil in a slow, steady stream until emulsified (approximately 20 seconds). Stop the blending as the emulsification process has met its threshold.

Frozen Coconut Limeade

Sip this sweet beverage, which combines coconut milk with a refreshing touch of tart lime flavour.

Ingredients

120 ml fresh lime juice
100 g granulated sugar
240 ml coconut milk
10 ice cubes

Directions

Add lime juice and granulated sugar to FourSide or WildSide+ jar and allow sugar to dissolve for 1 minute.

Add coconut milk and ice to jar. Secure lid and select “Batters” (or blend on a Medium speed for 30 seconds).

*For an adult version, add 1 oz light rum to each glass and then stir.

Peach Yogurt Cooler

This creamy yogurt smoothie is great as a breakfast, snack or even dessert. For an extra-special treat, put this smoothie in the freezer for at least two hours and eat it like frozen yogurt.

Ingredients

6 fl oz low-fat milk (or your choice of milk)
3 peaches peeled & pitted
2 cups ice cubes
½ cup fat-free peach yogurt

Directions

Add ingredients to FourSide or WildSide+ jar in order listed and secure lid (decrease ingredients by half if using Twister jar).

Blend on “Smoothie” cycle or blend on a Low speed for 10 seconds, then a Medium to Medium-Low speed for 10 seconds, then Medium to Medium-High speed for 40 seconds.

Berry Smoothie Bowl

Perfect as a meal replacement, snack or even dessert. Sprinkle with your favorite toppings and enjoy!

Ingredients

cup unsweetened almond milk
¼ cup low-fat vanilla yogurt
½ banana
½ cup frozen blackberries
½ cup frozen blueberries
1 cup frozen raspberries

Directions

Add ingredients to Twister jar in order listed and place Twister lid on jar.

Hold Twister lid and with other hand, select “Ice Cream” cycle or blend on a Low speed for 15 seconds, then blend on a Medium to Medium High speed for 30 seconds.

Turn Twister lid counter-clockwise during blending.
Notes: This recipe is best when made in the Twister jar but can be made in other jars by following step 1 above and then blending on a medium speed and stopping about every 10 seconds to check the texture and scrape sides back down to the blade.

If your Blendtec doesn’t feature an Ice Cream/Frozen Yogurt button, blend on a Low speed for 15 seconds, then blend on a Medium High speed for 30 seconds. If more blending is required, press pulse several times until desired texture is achieved.

Green Vegan Smoothie Bowl

A creamy green smoothie that is perfect when eaten with a spoon and your favorite toppings!

Ingredients

½ cup unsweetened almond milk
1 tbsp peanut butter
1 cup spinach
¼ avocado peeled & pitted
1 tsp chia seeds
1 cup ice cubes
½ frozen banana cut in half

Directions

Add almond milk, peanut butter, spinach and avocado to Twister jar and place Twister lid on jar.

Hold Twister lid and blend on low for 10 seconds.

Add remaining ingredients and place Twister lid on jar.

Select “Smoothie” cycle or blend on a Low speed for 10 seconds, then a Medium to Medium-Low speed for 10 seconds, then Medium to Medium-High speed for 40 seconds.

Turn Twister lid counter-clockwise during blending.

8 fl oz unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)
1 tbsp honey (or sweetener of choice, to taste)
6 whole strawberries

Directions
