Guacamole

Entertain your guests with this sweet and tart special treat. It’s low-cal, so there is no guilt consuming this tasty frozen drink. It contains 30% of daily value of vitamin C and 10% of total fiber recommendations.

Ingredients

2 cups mixed berries
3 tbsp lime juice freshly squeezed
3 tbsp agave nectar
3 cups ice cubes

Directions

Add ingredients to FourSide or WildSide+ jar in order listed and secure lid. Select “Ice Cream” and enjoy.

Note: If your Blendtec doesn’t feature an Ice Cream/Frozen Yogurt button, blend on a Low speed for 15 seconds, then blend on a Medium High speed for 30 seconds. If more blending is required, press pulse several times until desired texture is achieved.

Green Flaxy

A great way to improve your omega-3 intake is to enjoy this smoothie, which contains 1.5 grams of omega-3 fatty acids.

Ingredients

½ cup water
2 clementines peeled
1 banana
2 cups spinach
½ cup frozen pinaeapple chunks
2 tbsp flaxseeds

Directions

Add all ingredients to jar in order listed and secure lid.

Select “Whole Juice” or blend on a Medium to Medium-High speed for 50-60 seconds and serve.

Fudgesicle Frosty

This versatile dessert can be served immediately as fudgy frosties. Or, see the variation to make yummy fudge pops.

Ingredients

¼ cup agave nectar
½ avocado peeled and pitted
cup cocoa powder
0.66 cup coconut milk
3 cups ice cubes
4 Medjool dates pitted

Directions

Add coconut milk, agave nectar, cocoa powder, Medjool dates, and avocado to WildSide+ jar and secure lid.

Select “Sauces” or blend on a Medium to Medium-Low speed for 30 seconds.

Add ice cubes to jar and secure lid.

Select “Ice Cream” or blend on a Low speed for 15 seconds, then blend on a Medium to Medium-High speed for 30 seconds.

Note: To make this recipe in the FourSide jar, follow all of the same instructions. If there are still ice chunks in the mixture after the ice cream cycle is complete, hold down the pulse button for 6-10 seconds until the ice is blended and the star-shape or X is formed at the top of the fudgesicle frosty.

Sparkling Blueberry Lemonade

Packed with flavor and antioxidants, this brightly colored lemonade is the perfect thirst quencher on a hot summer day.

Ingredients

1 ½ cups fresh blueberries
½ cup granulated sugar
3 lemons peeled
1 tsp lemon zest
2 cups ice cubes
3 cups cold sparkling water or club soda

Directions

Add all ingredients to FourSide or WildSide+ jar in order listed and secure lid.

Select Whole Juice and serve.

Note: If your Blendtec doesn’t feature a Whole Juice button, blend on a Medium to Medium-High speed for 50–60 seconds.

Roasted Red Pepper Hummus

A twist on traditional hummus dip or spread with a mild red pepper taste and a slight kick of garlic and spice.

Ingredients

2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
2 tbsp tahini
1 garlic quartered
1 cup roasted red peppers
½ tsp kosher salt
½ tsp ground cumin
tsp cayenne pepper
1 can garbanzo beans drained and 3-4 tbsp. liquid reserved

Directions

Add ingredients, including the reserved garbanzo bean liquid, to Twister jar in order listed and place Twister lid on jar.

Hold Twister lid and with other hand select “Dips” or blend on a Medium to Medium-Low speed for 30 seconds. Turn the Twister lid counter-clockwise during blending.

Pumpkin Pie Smoothie

Full of vitamins A and C and antioxidants, this smoothie resembles the traditional Thanksgiving dessert.

Ingredients

½ cup apple juice
1 cup fat-free vanilla yogurt
1 cup ice cubes
½ orange peeled
1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1 cup pumpkin puree

Directions

Add ingredients to the FourSide or WildSide+ jar in order listed.

Secure lid and select “Smoothie.”

Personal Pizza Dough

This simple and straightforward dough is great for making a personal pizza. Instead of the traditional toppings, try topping with butter or coconut butter, sprinkling with cinnamon and sugar, and then drizzling with a little frosting for a small dessert pizza.

Ingredients

Directions

Add water, yeast, and honey to Twister jar, and place lid on jar. Hold lid with one hand, and with other hand press “Pulse” 2 times. Allow yeast to proof 5–10 minutes.

Add salt, oil, and flour to jar, and place lid on jar. Hold lid with one hand, and with other hand pulse 6–8 times, turning lid counterclockwise during blending. Allow dough to rise in jar (with lid in place) until doubled.

Preheat oven to 450°F, and heat baking stone or pan in oven.

Roll out dough on well-oiled or floured surface. Place rolled-out dough on paddle, thin cutting board, or cookie sheet dusted with cornmeal. Cover dough with sauce and favorite toppings.

Slide pizza from cornmeal-covered surface to heated baking stone or pan by wiggling pizza gently.

Bake in oven until golden brown, approximately 6–8 minutes.

Remove from oven, and allow to cool 3–5 minutes before slicing.

Lime-Cilantro Marinade

Use as a marinade for fajitas or skewers or as a sauce drizzled over fish tacos with sliced cabbage and pico de gallo.

Mango Salsa

This crowd pleaser is so good it will disappear before your eyes! It’s the perfect topping for grilled salmon and fish tacos and is delicious as a dip.

Ingredients

¼ cup cilantro
½ red onion roughly chopped
1 red pepper trimmed, seeded and roughly chopped
2 mangoes peeled and pitted
¼ tsp sea salt
¼ tsp ground cumin

Directions

Add ingredients to WildSide+ jar and secure lid.

Pulse 4-6 times until chopped and still chunky.

Hearty Vegetable Chowder

Warm up during the holiday season with this chunky vegetarian chowder that will give you the comfort of a creamy soup without all the calories.

Ingredients

1 tbsp butter
½ tsp chili powder
¼ tsp fennel seeds
1 cup frozen carrot coins
2 cups frozen corn kernels
1 garlic quartered
tsp ground white pepper
¼ tsp kosher or sea salt
½ medium onion roughly chopped
1 cup red potato baked
2 cups vegetable broth

Directions

Heat butter in 3-quart saucepan. Add onion and garlic, and sauté until tender.

Add broth, 1 cup corn, pepper, salt, fennel seeds, and chili powder; bring to a boil, and then simmer for 10 minutes.

Add soup to FourSide or WildSide+ jar and secure lid. Select “Soup” setting.

Add potato, and press “Pulse” 5–7 times or until desired texture is reached.

Transfer soup back to saucepan, and add remaining corn and carrots; heat until corn and carrots are tender.
