Chicken Blend (Tube-Feed)

Ingredients

Chicken thighs
Sweet potatoes
Spinach
Jarred pears (apparently it’s good for lung health)
Sorghum
Tart cherries
Hemp hearts
Ginger root (cooked with chicken in slow cooker to soften)

Directions

Cook the ginger root and the chicken in a slow cooker to cook and soften these. Add the chicken broth made out of the liquid the chicken and ginger was cooked in to the WildSide Jar.

Add all other ingredients to the WildSide Jar

Blend using the Whole-Fruits cycle, or blend for 50 seconds at highest speed.

Split-Second Applesauce Recipe

This applesauce is a quick and easy snack your whole family will enjoy. Gala and Fuji apples are great varieties for applesauce.

Ingredients

2 medium apples cored and quartered
1 banana
2 tsp. fresh lemon juice
1 soft date pitted (optional)
1/3 cup water

Directions

Add ingredients to FourSide or WildSide+ jar in order listed and secure lid.

Select “Sauces” or blend on a Medium to Medium-Low speed for 23 seconds.

Spice Cake Pops Recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 apple cored and quartered
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup canola oil
3 eggs
1/4 cup fat-free milk
1 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp. kosher salt
1/4 cup molasses
4 oz. Neufchâtel cheese

Directions

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Add first 10 ingredients to jar. Secure lid and press “Pulse” 3€“4 times. Pour into separate bowl and set aside.

Add oil, apple, molasses, and eggs to jar. Secure lid and select “Whole Juice” (or blend on Medium High, speed 6 or 7, for 50-60 seconds).

Add half of flour mixture to jar and secure lid. Press “Pulse” 3€“4 times. Add remaining flour mixture and secure lid. Press “Pulse” 8€“10 times or until dry ingredients are incorporated.

Pour batter into greased 9″x5″ pan, and bake for 25€“30 minutes. Let cake cool completely.

Add Neufchâtel cheese, milk, and powdered sugar to FourSide or WildSide+ jar and secure lid. Press “Pulse” 6€“8 times or until ingredients are blended.

Using your fingers, crumble entire cake. Add frosting to crumbled cake a little at a time until cake crumbles cling together.

Form cake balls by using a 1-ounce ice cream scoop, cookie dough baller, or your hands. Insert top of a lollipop stick into each cake ball, and secure stick upright in craft or floral foam.

Cranberry-Orange Smoothie Recipe| Blendtec

This simple smoothie recipe offers a slight tartness from the fresh cranberries.

Ingredients

3/4 cup orange juice
1 cup fresh cranberries
1 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 banana quartered and frozen
1 cup ice cubes

Directions

Add ingredients to FourSide or WildSide+ jar in order listed and secure lid.

Select “Smoothie” or blend on a Low speed for 10 seconds, then a Medium to Medium-Low speed for 10 seconds, then Medium to Medium-High speed for 40 seconds.

Roasted Red Enchilada Sauce Recipe

This slightly smoky and savory sauce is gluten free. Guajillo chiles are typically available in Latin food markets and some well-stocked grocery stores.

Ingredients

1 tbsp. canola oil
1 1/2 tbsp. chili powder
2 dried guajillo chilies
1/4 tsp. dried oregano
1 clove garlic
1/4 tsp. ground cumin
1/4 tsp. kosher salt
1 1/2 tsp. paprika
8 oz. can tomato sauce
2 cups vegetable broth

Directions

Toast guajillo chilies in oven preheated to 400°F or in cast iron skillet over medium-high heat for 2€“3 minutes or until aromatic.

Soak guajillos in hot water up to 1 hour, and then remove stems and seeds.

Add chilies and remaining ingredients to FourSide or WildSide+ jar in order listed. Secure lid and select “Soup.”

Pour into saucepan, and simmer until sauce is heated through.

Serve atop your favorite enchiladas, approximately _ cup per enchilada.

Savory Beef Marinade

This versatile marinade works well with any cut of beef.

Ingredients

cup balsamic vinegar
¼ cup Worcestershire sauce
¼ cup olive oil
1 tbsp black pepper
1 tbsp kosher or sea salt
6 cloves garlic
1 yellow onion roughly chopped
1 tsp dried thyme
1 ½ cups vegetable juice

Directions

Add ingredients to jar in order listed. Blend on a Medium speed for 10 seconds.

In the refrigerator, marinate your favorite roast overnight or your favorite steaks for 1 hour, then cook how you normally would.

Pumpkin Pleaser

The combo of probiotics, pumpkin, and a little protein is a great way to start any day.

Ingredients

1 cup ice cubes
2 bananas quartered and frozen
1 tsp pumplin pie spice
1 cup pumpkin puree
1 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt
¾ cup orange juice

Directions

Add all ingredients to WildSide+ jar in order listed.

Secure lid and select “Smoothie.”

Pumpkin Crepes

Put a pumpkin twist on this classic French dessert. Fill it with your favorite spread (we love Nutella) and top it with whipped cream!

Ingredients

2 large eggs
1 tbsp butter melted
¼ cup pumpkin puree
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup low-fat milk
1 cup ground cinnamon

Directions

Add ingredients to WildSide+ or FourSide jar in order listed and secure lid.

Select “Batters” cycle or blend on a Medium speed for 30 seconds.

Place the crepe batter in the refrigerator for 1 hour prior to cooking crepes.

Heat a skillet or crepe pan over medium heat and lightly coat with oil or cooking spray.

For each crepe, pour ¼ cup batter into center of pan and swirl pan gently to distribute batter in a thin layer. Cook for 1 minute or until the top begins to dry out and underneath is lightly golden. Flip and cook an additional 30 seconds until done.

Repeat with remaining batter. Stack completed crepes on a plate with wax paper between each crepe to prevent sticking.

Fill with desired fillings or toppings.

Pineapple Cilantro Ice Pops

Chill out this summer with this refreshing frozen treat.

Ingredients

½ banana
3 tbsp cilantro
1 cup coconut water
2 tbsp fresh lime juice
2 cups pineapple chunks
2 tbsp agave nectar (or your choice of sweetener, to taste)

Directions

Pour into ice pop molds, and freeze for 8 hours.

Piña Colada

cup coconut milk
2 cups ice cubes
3 fl oz light rum
1 ½ cups pineapple chunks
